Cheri Erickson - Assistant Coach
Cheri Erickson enters her third year as the assistant volleyball coach for the Freed-Hardeman University volleyball team.
Erickson, a 2005 graduate of FHU, was a member of the Lady Lion volleyball team from 2001-2004 and established herself as one of the top setters in the nation. She was a three-time TranSouth Conference Scholar Athlete and an NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2004. Her senior season saw Erickson earn first-team all-conference honors as she led the NAIA in assists per game.
Though her college eligibility as passed, her playing days are not over. In the summer of 2008, she teamed with several former NCAA Division I athletes to win the USA Volleyball Adult Open Championship in Atlanta.
In addition to her coaching duties at Freed-Hardeman, she also coaches in the Jackson Juniors club volleyball program.
Cheri is the daughter of Keith and Janet Kull of Perry, Ohio, and is married to Jon Erickson.
