2008 Women's Soccer Coaches
Jason Elliott - Head Coach
Jason Elliott begins his eighth season as the head men's and women's soccer coach at Freed-Hardeman University.

Elliott has been a part of the men's soccer program since it was instituted in 2000. He was a player on the inaugural team and scored the first goal in school history on Sept. 16, 2000, against Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University. The year after, he succeeded Chuck Begnaud as the head coach of both programs.

The Lion and Lady Lion programs emphasize more than success on the field. Since 2001, the programs have boasted a combined 83 TranSouth Conference Scholar Athletes and 27 NAIA Scholar Athletes and have routinely posted team GPAs of 3.0 or higher.

Elliott, a native of McPherson, Kan., completed his undergraduate work at Freed-Hardeman in 2000 and earned a master's degree in 2001. He is the son of Glen and Colleen Elliott of McPherson and is married to the former Misti Mason. He has two children, Amos (3) and Lydia (1).
