LEBANON, Tenn. - The No. 2 Cumberland (Tenn.) Bulldogs won with their bats on Friday.  Today, they won with their pitching.

The Bulldogs limited the Freed-Hardeman Lions to one run in each side of a double-header, completing the series sweep with wins of 4-1 and 5-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Aaron Wilkerson tossed a four-hitter in the first game, his only blemish coming on a solo home run by Noslen Labrada (11) in the sixth inning.  Gage Franklin (4-2) was effective on the hill for FHU, allowing nine hits and four runs in six innings of work.

The Lions got on top early in game two, getting a bases-loaded walk from Evan Mansell to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning.  But Cumberland followed with a run of its own in the bottom of the frame, and added runs in the third, fourth, and sixth innings while Robert Post and Adam Sprague combined to shut down FHU's offense the rest of the way.

Labrada went 3-for-3 at the plate in game one, accounting for all but one of the Lions' hits.  Leamond Arthur had two hits in game two.

Freed-Hardeman (28-15, 6-6) falls into a tie for fourth place in the TranSouth Conference, one game behind third-place Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College.
