HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion softball team will have to wait a little bit longer to play their 2010 home opener.

Rain forced the cancellation of the home opener against Christian Brothers (Tenn.) University scheduled for Tuesday, March 2.  The new home opener is on a date that was added to the schedule today, a double-header against Lambuth (Tenn.) University on Monday, March 15.

Also added to the schedule is an away double-header against Lambuth on March 29 and a home twinbill against Belhaven (Miss.) University on April 23.

The Lady Lions will play close to home this weekend in Jackson, Tenn., at the Union University Classic with two games against William Woods (Mo.) and Columbia (Mo.) on Friday and Saturday.
