NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Zack Frey shared TranSouth Conference men's basketball player of the week honors with Mid-Continent (Ky.) University's Joshua Woodley for the week ending Feb. 28, 2010.

Frey, a 6-foot-8 senior center from Nashville, Tenn., averaged 26 points and eight rebounds per game during the week. In all three games FHU played, the all-conference performer surpassed the 20 point mark. Against Lambuth (Tenn.), Frey scored 28 points with a 10-for-17 performance from the field. He followed with 27 points in win over Lyon (Ark.) College, hitting 13-of-17 from the field. He closed out the week with 23 points against Bethel (Tenn.) University.

Frey shot 59.3 percent (32-for-54) from the field for the week.

Freed-Hardeman finished the season 20-10 overall and 12-4 in TranSouth play. FHU was receiving votes in the latest NAIA Division 1 Men's Basketball Top 25. The Lions are the No. 3 seed in the upcoming TranSouth Tournament.
