ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Following an impressive week highlighted by a win over NCAA Division 2 Union University, FHU Lady Lion golfer Chloe Kraus has been awarded the American Midwest Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced Monday from the conference office in St Louis, Mo.

Kraus, a native of Lenexa, Kansas, was instrumental in securing a win for the FHU Golf teams in its Ryder Cup event against Union University held September 7-8 at the Chickisaw Golf Course in Henderson, Tenn.

Kraus was the only women's player to garner a point in the second day of the event, as she secured a 3 and 2 win. The point proved valuable as Freed-Hardeman concluded Ryder Cup play winning the event by one point.

The Golfer of the Week nod marks the second time in her college career Kraus has received the honor, the other coming last season on April 10, 2017.
