HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lions picked up another player for the upcoming season with the signing of Daniel Gravatt of Memphis, Tenn.
Gravatt, a 6-foot-7 forward, prepped at Central Baptist School under Coach Daniel Reynolds. While there, he earned numerous honors and awards including TAACS All-Region, PCC Invitational All-Tournament, and MACS Conference MVP. He finished his senior season averaging 20.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
"We're excited to have Daniel as part of our program," said FHU head coach Jason Shelton. "His best basketball is ahead of him. He's been part of our camps for multiple summers, and it gave us an opportunity to see him work and get to know him as a person. As any freshman, he will need time to develop physically to be able to make an impact at the college level."
Daniel is the son of Jay and Dale Gravatt of Memphis.
