HENDERSON, Tenn. - Kyle Teichmann is making a habit of winning the TranSouth Conference Player of the Week award this season.
Following his 25-point, 10-rebound performance in Freed-Hardeman's road win over NCAA Division II Chaminade (Hawaii) University, Teichmann was honored with his third straight conference player of the week award and his fourth this year.
A 6-foot-6 junior from Brentwood, Tenn., Teichmann posted his fourth double-double in the last five games as the No. 17 Lions (10-3) won their fifth straight contest.
Teichmann currently leads the TranSouth in scoring with an average of 22.7 points per game.
